Winter on the Little Eau Pleine River

I would like to tell you that to obtain this image I had to put on my snow shoes and make my way through deep snow drifts for several hours to get to this magical spot.  What I would like and what is reality is often very different.  This image was obtained directly from a roadway crossing the river, it took very little effort on my part other than being prepared to capture the image.  In the winter, being prepared is often enough of a challenge.
