Former Rose Milling Company in Wild Rose, WI

Back in the early days of Wild Rose, WI, the Rose Milling Company created the Rose Mill Pond by damming one of the feeder creeks to the Pine River.   Primarily used as a grist mill to grind wheat for animals; the dam also generated the first electric power for the village.
