Winter Cress – One of Spring’s First Wildflowers

Known by some locals as Rocket Flowers, Winter Cress is one of the first wildflowers to bloom each spring, A member of the mustard family, it has been used in a poultice to treat wounds in folk medicine.  This image was capture as two images and then combined in Photoshop.  The first image was exposed for the sky, the second for the Winter Cress.

    Nice clouds, Pete. Good job on the landscape–a little unusual to use a vertical approach but it works really well with the lovely yellow flowers against the darker sky.
